The heart rending news of three small children tending the goats being torn to death by stray dogs in Rahim Yar Khan ought to move the vigorous Chief Minister of Punjab busy in building Metro track in Lahore and Rawalpindi-Islamabad. He ought to pay attention to South Punjab where unheard of incidences like children being torn to death by stray dogs are being reported. In addition 1,000 women are honour killed in Pakistan with majority being in Punjab. The Chief Minister should not focus only on North Punjab as South Punjab is suffering from backwardness of 14th century. What good are metrobuses for the poor mother who loses her three boys to dogs?
It looks like the country is virtually going to dogs in the real sense of the word. If the Chief Minister cannot look after South Punjab, it is better to shed that portion and create a new province to have a new Chief Minister to pay attention exclusively to a depressed area that is falling behind the North Punjab in a drastic manner. We wait for change of policy of our rulers to bring up the South Punjab by its shoestrings before it sinks further in poverty and breeds terrorists of all hue and colour.

Tell this to animal rights organization. They will come out on the street to protest against the cruelty against the stray dogs.
We create our own problems. Stray dogs should either be given shelter or eliminate them by giving poison to them. It is not cruelty against animals. but playing safe foe our children.
