At least three persons including a police constable and two prisoners were critically injured in a clash between two groups on Wednesday.
Police said that two groups of prisoners clashed over petty issue in the premises of a local court of Gujranwala. Members of both groups used blades and sharp-edged weapons against each other critically injuring two prisoners Imran and Nasir, and police constable Zahid.
The injured were shifted to the Gujranwala’s Civil Hospital while the police after registering a case against the accused at Civil Lines Police Station have kicked off investigation.
