Shahbaz, Qaim agree to promote provincial harmony

The chief ministers of Punjab and Sindh have decided to resolve different matters between the two provinces through dialogue and understanding.

This was decided when Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif held meeting with Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah  on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they agreed to work together for promotion of provincial harmony and exchanged views on law and order situation in Karachi. Shahbaz Sharif also invited Syed Qaim Ali Shah to attend the inauguration of Islamabad-Rawalpindi Metro bus service on Thursday.

The Punjab CM visited Karachi on the invitation of Sindh CM and also attended luncheon given in his honour. Shahbaz also met with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and discussed law and order and political matters in the meeting whereas he also congratulated the governor prior to his daughter’s marriage.

After his meeting with the governor, the Punjab CM reached CM House Sindh and attended the meeting to discuss country’s present status and political scenario. Syed Qaim Ali Shah also hosted a lunch for the guest.

The meeting was also attended by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Memon, Nisar Khoro including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Saleem Zia, Rana Maqsood and Raheela Magsi.
