PM for smooth supply of petrol, scheduled outages during Ramzan

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Wednesday directed all out efforts for smooth supply of petroleum products and to observe load-shedding schedule during Ramzan.

The prime minister was chairing a high-level meeting to review the power and petroleum supply situation during summer season, especially during the Ramzan at the PM House.

The prime minister also directed the ministry of water and power to ensure that load-shedding should not exceed the specified limit of six hours in urban and eight hours in rural areas, and no load-shedding during Sehr and Iftar time across the country.

The prime minister also directed efforts for smooth supply of petroleum products in all parts of the country particularly during the holy month. He also directed the ministry of water and power that during the Ramzan load shedding should not exceed the specified limit of six hours in urban and eight hours in rural areas with no load shedding allowed at Sehr and Iftar time.
