Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Monday said that there would be no concession for people who damaged public interest facilities and services, and added that they deserved exemplary punishment.
He said this during a meeting with the owner and administration of Rawalpindi-Kalar Syedan Air Conditioned Bus Service at the Punjab House.
Expressing grief over the sad incident of burning of two buses of the company, the minister directed the local police and administration to provide complete security to the owners and the bus services and take stern action against the culprits who burnt the buses worth of million rupees.
He said that Rawalpindi- Kalar Syedan Air Conditioned Bus Service had been started for the benefit of the people of Kalar Syedan and its surroundings and it was providing a quality transport facility to the people.
The minister said those who wanted to sabotage the service started in the public interest would be brought to the book.
He said the local people must protect such projects and support the administration and owners of public welfare services.
