ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) on Monday launched seasonal bus service between Rawalpindi and Naran to promote domestic tourism in the country, according to sources.
Managing Director Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Chaudhry Khabir Ahmed Khan inaugurated the bus service.
Officials said both the national and International tourist can avail the services of Rawalpindi to Naran bus service. The travel time for the journey is set to be as 8 hours, with just Rs.1500 bus fare, according to sources.
Khan said the tourists will be accommodated in 60-room PTDC Naran motel situated on the bank of Naran River, adding that environment of Naran is very pleasant and peaceful.
He announced that PTDC would soon start a similar bus service for Swat valley, reportedly.
PTDC will provide special discounted tour packages to the families, students, group tourists and foreign tourists.
