PESHAWAR:
Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has vowed complete investigation into reports of rigging during Saturday’s local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where his party secured majority of seats, according to local media reports.
The largest local government elections in KPK history were marred by sporadic incidents of violence, mismanagement and reports of rigging, as violence claimed nine lives.
In violation of election code of conduct, polling process on more than 150 polling stations was disturbed by agitators in different areas, reportedly.
