Axact CEO Shoaib Shaikh, who was admitted to Jinnah Hospital’s cardio section late Saturday night, has been re-shifted to anti-human trafficking cell of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Corporate Crime Circle (CCC), local media authorities stated.
He was hospitalized after he felt chest pain. After several medical tests including ECG were conducted, the doctors declared him whole. However, Shaikh wanted to move to Aga Khan Hospital for satisfactory medical checkup, but FIA turned down his plea, reportedly.
A local court remanded him back into FIA custody till June 4.
An FIR also has been lodged against the Shaikh. Clauses of Pakistan Penal Code, money laundering and cyber crimes were included in the FIR. Shoaib Sheikh’s brother-in-law and company’s vice chairman also have been booked in the case, authorities stated.
