And there’s going to be quite a celebration. The joint session’s scheduled for the 4th. And there’s the budget on the 5th. So that’s just when they’ll have a party about the economic turnaround. But isn’t our GDP the lowest in the region; after Afghanistan? And isn’t Mian sb looking to further dilute the already unimpressive tax base? Celebrate what, then, might one ask?

Now there’s this private channel that always rubs it in about credibility, honesty, etc. So why’d they pull this story about a raid on a Sindh minister’s residence then? Rs2 billion also recovered. Documentary evidence and all. The minister was out of the country, but a few things hit the fan when he found out. He rubbished the story, for sure. But then, quite interestingly, the upholders of truth and fair coverage back tracked on the story. It disappeared. Story withdrawn. Quite a hasty retreat. That doesn’t meant the minister isn’t suing, though. Good luck with the clear coverage, etc, of that.
