Rs 3 million reward announced for SSP, officials of ISI, Rangers

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali on Friday announced Rs 3 million reward for SSP West Captain Azfar Mahersar and his team for conducting a successful raid in the area of Orangi and recovering a heavy contingent of arms and ammunition.

He also appreciated the IGP for such a successful operation by SSP West. Since the operation was conducted on the intelligence work of ISI team, the chief minister also announced Rs 3 million reward for the intelligence team.

The Rangers had also conducted a successful raid in a house in Orangi area on Sunday night in which a terrorist blasted himself. As a result, the roof of the house caved in, killing three terrorists. However, one accused was arrested in injured condition.

On the pointation of house owners, another house was raided in which two terrorists were killed in an encounter. The third one blew himself up while forth one was arrested. From the same house, a kidnapped child Fahad Mirza was recovered. The terrorists had kidnapped the child and had demanded Rs 30 million ransom.

The Rangers had recovered four rockets, six suicide jackets, 10 bombs and other arms and ammunitions. The chief minister not only congratulated the DG Rangers on the successful operation but announced Rs 3 million reward for Rangers raiding the team.
