Pak-Swiss friendship exhibition takes off

This is the first-of-its-kind exhibition which is beneficial for the sponsors, the image of Karachi Airport, and in particular for Pakistan, and Switzerland, said the Consul General Emil Wyss on the occasion of the inauguration of “Pakistan-Switzerland Friendship Exhibition” organised at the Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi.

The Swiss consulate general is organising this unique event for a period of 100 days inside the airport in collaboration with the Swiss Business Council (SBC) as co-organiser, Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as venue partner and with Badar Expo Solutions as Event Manager.

During the exhibition, a life-size model of Swiss cow painted by team of Phool Patti in traditional Pakistani truck-art will also be put on display to be used as a guest book, which at the end of this over three months activity will be auctioned for charity.

Total 22 brands are actively participating in the exhibition, which include Nestlé Pakistan, Al-Karam, Pakistan International Airlines, Mehran Group and Rado as Platinum sponsors. Ten student facilitators will interact with visiting passengers and provide them useful information.

Also present at the occasion were Air Marshal (r) Muhammad Yousaf – Director General CAA, Mrs Yasmin Peermohamed, President of SBC and Country Manager of SWISS International Airlines, Nisar Ahmad Brohi – Airport Manager, JIAP, Zohair Naseer Bari -Chief Operating Officer, Badar Expo Solutions, eminent personalities, and representatives of all sponsors.
