Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday said that no one could prevent women from exercising their right to vote.
Addressing a rally in Khaplu Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan, the PTI chief said he condemns the policy in areas where women are not allowed to vote. He said only voting will empower their future.
“All the women who are present here right now today I thank you and I tell you, go back and encourage other women to vote,” he said.
Imran Khan said his party is paying more attention on women`s education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Local bodies system will also empower women in the society.
Khan is visiting these areas to campaign for his party ahead of the June 8 G-B legislative assembly elections.
