RAW BRIEFING FOR FRESH CADETS

Addressing a passing-out parade of Frontier Constabulary (FC) cadets in Shabqadar Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan claimed that Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) was involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan and Indian defense minister had confessed to it.

“Our external enemy does not have the courage for face-to-face confrontation. Therefore, it is using proxies to trigger anarchy in our villages and cities. They do not want development and stability in the country. You have to fight a war against terrorists who spread terrorism in the name of Islam. How can anyone be called a Muslim who kills women and children in the name of Islam? Your commitment and determination will succeed you in the mission,” the minister told 3,300 cadets who cleared their course on the occasion.

The interior minister said the Indian defense minister had admitted his country’s involvement in acts of terrorism in Pakistan. This statement should serve as an eye opener for the entire world, he said. “The elements perpetrating acts of terrorism in Pakistan are actually puppets and proxies of our eternal enemy,” he added.

Emphatically stating that internal and external enemies of the country will be defeated at all costs with unity in ranks, Nisar said that the passing cadets will play a key role in establishing peace in the region.

Moreover, the interior minister said that the country’s political leadership and the armed forces were on the same page against terrorism, fighting war against enemies “using Islam for their heinous designs”.

Nisar said that the government is committed to root out terrorism and extremism from the country. He announced that Pakistan Army will train FC force to combat terrorism.

Appreciating the sacrifices rendered by the security forces in the fight against terrorism, he said those attacking schools and worship places are distorting image of Islam. He said these elements will be crushed for revival of complete peace and tranquillity to the country.
