One killed, three injured in city violence

One person was killed and three others injured in different firing incidents in the metropolis on Thursday.

A 35-year-old man was gunned down by unknown armed men in Muhajir Camp in Baldia area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for a post-mortem.

A policeman, Shafiullah, 30, son of Mumtaz, was injured by unknown gunmen when he resisted to snatching in Lasbela Chowk. He was taken to AbbasiShaheedHospital for treatment.

A woman, Soraj, 20, wife of Awais, was injured by unknown gunmen in Malir Cantonment area. She was shifted to LiaquatNationalHospital for treatment. In another incident, Khan Muhammad, 22, son of Wazir Muhammad, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men in Block 13 Gulistan-e-Jauher. He was rushed to JinnahPostgraduateMedicalCenter for treatment.

FOUR DIE, ONE INJURED IN MISHAPS

Four people were killed and another injured in separate mishaps in the metropolis on Thursday.

A man, Saeed Khan, 34, son of Naimat Khan, was electrocuted during work in 19-B Muhajir Camp, BaldiaTown. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy. In another incident, a man, Ghulam Qadir, 35, son of Ahmed Yar was electrocuted in a factory of Ahsanabad Industrial Area in Gulshan-e-Maymar. The body was shifted to AbbasiShaheedHospital for medico-legal formalities.

A youth, Imran, 24, died after falling from an under-construction building near SeaView. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center(JPMC) for an autopsy.

A 12-year-old boy, Muhammad Ali, son of Saeeduzzaman resident of Keamari drowned into sea in Seaview Clifton. The body was shifted to JPMC for medico-legal formalities. A man, Aman, 35, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit him in Defense Housing Authority. He was rushed to JPMC for treatment.
