Indian girl escapes Pakistani husband’s home

A 25-year-old Indian girl escaped from her Pakistani husband’s home on Wednesday.

Zahra Mariam, a school teacher in India, married Qaiser Bilal after falling in love with on social networking website, Facebook.

The couple met at Wagha border for the first time and afterwards got married with the consent of both the families.

Zahra’s family visited Pakistan where the couple got married but just after three months of marriage, Qaiser and his family allegedly took away all the gold and money owned by the girl and tortured her as well.

As per details, Qaiser’s family allegedly locked her in a room after torturing her.

Zahra called the police and was freed and transferred to Sahinwala Police Station.

Zahra was presented in front of a civil judge on Wednesday. The court ordered officials to carry out Zahra’s medical tests and present her before a court of special judicial magistrate afterwards. The special judicial magistrate sent Zahra to Darul Aman.
