We have forgotten that a sitting Chief Minister of a province had publically declared in the past that “a degree is a degree whether genuine or fake”. Everyone took it as a joke at that time and forgot the old saying that a “mad man is quite sane for his own purpose”. We have become a nation of “do (2) number”. Even a public declaration of fake degrees is accepted by all concerned with unruffled feathers. Everything is swept under the carpet unless it is published abroad. There is no enquiry on Kargil misadventure leading to hundreds of deaths of army men.
Everyone knows that India is spending billions of rupees each year to divert us from KBD but not a louse crawls behind the ear of our political masters due to their vested interests which are patently anti-national. The nation on the whole is deep in stupor, periodically shuddered to life by a mega scam but soon goes back to slumber, including our media. We are our own enemies when our nation belatedly learns of hundreds of thousands of fake degrees being issued by unscrupulous persons. This is because everything in our dear country is reported hunky dory until the bitter truth bursts in our face to dirty our image.
