The government rejected the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA)’s summary for upward revision of petroleum prices for the month of June, sources said on Monday.
According to sources, the government has decided to give relief to the masses in the holy month of Ramzan and ensure that there is no change in petroleum prices.
Last week, the OGRA had forwarded the summary about raising petroleum prices up to Rs 5.80 per litre.
In many countries oil prices are reviewed on daily and weekly basis. In Pakistan these are reviewed on monthly basis which seems to be good. In this way consumers don't have to focus a lot on oil prices. help me summarize
