Trader killed, Quetta shuts down

A complete shutter down was observed in Quetta while protesters burnt tyres at Meezan Chowk on Sunday after a trader was killed while his brother sustained injuries when unidentified motorcyclists fired shots at them on Sunday.

Per details, miscreants fired shots on two businessmen on Masjid Road. Muhammad Fazal died on the spot while Muhammad Suleman sustained serious injuries.

The Police, FC and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the dead and wounded to a hospital.

Markazi Anjuman Tajiran and relatives of those killed and wounded reached the scene and shut the city while citizens burnt tyres at Meezan Chowk.

Speaking on the occasion, Anjuman Tajiran President Abdul Rahim Kakar and activists of Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat said that administration was “equally responsible” for firing on shops along roads in Quetta during broad daylight. He demanded immediate arrest of culprits.
