Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials on Sunday reviewed the arrangements at the Gaddafi stadium before beginning of second T-20I.
Enclosures were properly cleaned and the staff was directed to clean the enclosures again after the match concludes.
The officials further directed to make proper drinking water arrangements in different enclosures for the spectators while security measures were also reviewed.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmed said that international cricket had returned to Pakistan after six years so steps have been taken to remove the problems of spectators which they face during match, adding that the quantity of water and food items have been increased as well.
He said that there were some problems due to security but we have to tolerate it for the revival of international cricket.
SECOND ENTRANCE POINT OPENED FOR SPECTATORS
Earliers, a second entrance point had been opened to facilitate the cricket spectators before the start of the match. Fans were allowed to enter the stadium through Coaching Centre Gate.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources said on Sunday that the decision was taken to avoid overcrowding and ensure smooth entrance for those coming through FIFA gate.
In first T-20 match the people were only allowed to enter through FIFA gate due to which people faced some difficulties and for the second T-20, the second entrance point had been opened keeping in view the difficulties faced by people, sources added.
