The Consulate of Pakistan in Birmingham has started issuing Machine Readable Passports (MRPs), says a press release issued on Sunday.
The start of this service has met the longstanding demand of the Pakistani community in Birmingham and adjacent areas.
Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK Syed Ibne Abbas had assured the Pakistani community of the provision of this facility in Birmingham on priority basis, and with this, the promise stands fulfilled.
The passport applicants are advised to visit the Consulate for processing of passport applications. The start of MRP service is in continuation of the ongoing efforts of the high commission and its consulates to facilitate the community through improved consular services.
