Kris Jenner Is Upset About Kanye West’s Anniversary Surprise For Kim

Let’s all take deep breaths and relax! Kris Jenner, 59, is upset with Kanye West, 37, for keeping the family in the dark about his one-year wedding anniversary surprise for Kim Kardashian, 34. She wanted Kanye to keep her informed for one very special reason.

“Kris is a little irked by it all,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “She was hoping that they could at least work out a deal for a TV special. But Kanye doesn’t want that. He wants to do something far more private and meaningful, not for the cameras.”

While no one wants to cross Kris, you have to respect Kanye for planning something away from the cameras. And we don’t imagine this little disagreement will keep Kanye from including Kris on the anniversary festivities. After all, Kris posted the sweetest Mother’s Day message for her son-in-law, who lost his mom Donda West back in 2007. She’s practically adopted Kanye as her son!

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Kanye is planning a secret wedding anniversary surprise for Kim, but is keeping his beloved and her family in the dark about the prospective celebration.

“Kanye has got something very special planned for Kim on their wedding anniversary, but he’s refusing to say what,” a source told HollywoodLife.com.

“He’s kept everybody in the dark because he wants to control the situation, a little like the way he handled the wedding, and Kim is not being allowed to have her say.”
