Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday asked Pakistan to extend all help in tackling terrorism as it was also a victim of the menace.

“It (Pakistan) should extend full cooperation in checking terrorism because the country is facing a similar problem today,” Singh told reporters.

On Pakistan’s strong reaction to Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar’s recent remarks about neutralising terrorists through terrorists, Singh said, “Not only India, but the entire world knows who is promoting terrorism.”

Reacting to Parrikar’s comments, Adviser to Pakistan Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz had said it confirmed Islamabad’s apprehensions that India was involved in terrorism in that country.

“It must be the first time that a minister of an elected government openly advocates use of terrorism in another country on the pretext of preventing terrorism from that country or its non-state actors,” Aziz had said in a statement released by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In a statement on Sunday, Aziz said that Pakistan and India need to work together to defeat terrorism and reiterated serious concern over Parrikar’s statement.

The adviser said that Pakistan sincerely pursues a policy of good neighbourly relations with India. He said terrorism is our common enemy and it is vital for both the countries to work together to defeat this menace.

Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid also expressed concern over the statement of Indian defence minister and termed it dangerous for regional peace.

  1. It is quiet surprising that on one hand this Indian is blaming Pakistan for supporting and funding terrorists but on the other hand he is also asking the same Pakistan for help in fighting terrorism.

How is it possible that a country which is funding or supporting terrorists, is the the one that will help them in fighting terrorists?

If a person A sends a theif in his house and robs his house, and the victim knows who actually did it, will victim call the same person A and ask him to cooperate with him in search of that theif?

I think this kind of double policy from Indian side will not bring any benefit.

Ask these Indians that if India is really worried about terrorism, than which serious terror attack happened in India after Mumbai attack of 2008?

In Pakistan ,Schools,Mosques, Hospitals and Markets were targetted, more than 80,000 peple were killed in Pakistan since 2008.
