Governor Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Barjees Tahir has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan’s allegations are baseless, as he has no proof.
Talking to media persons after attending a shields distribution ceremony at Government Girls College, Gulberg Lahore on Saturday, Barjees Tahir said that the PTI chairman has wasted the precious time of the nation through purposeless, prolonged sit-ins and protest demonstrations.
He said that Imran has no proof for any of his allegations and his entire politics is based on political blame game.
Responding a question, Barjees Tahir said he is holding three offices at same time as an MNA, Federal Minister and Governor GB.
He clarified that he has no concern with the affairs of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
He said that if the speaker of GB Legislative Assembly (GBLA) was disqualified then the House would not be considered disqualified.
Barjees Tahir said that free and transparent polls would be held in GB and for the first time in history, the AJK Assembly was completing its constitutional tenure.
