ISLAMABAD:

All office-bearers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been dismissed from their offices as party chief Imran Khan appointed election commissioner to see about the intra-party polls, according to local media sources.

Talking to media earlier today, the party chairman Khan declared all party offices as void and announced new party elections by setting up interim organizational set up, reportedly.

Khan said, “Interim office-bearers will work in the meantime ahead of elections. Chaudhry Sarwar will take charge as the organizer in Punjab and Arif Alvi will function as such in Sindh.”

Khan said that Yousuf Ayub and Humayun Jogizai will fill in as organizers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan respectively, adding that political and consultative committees also will be set up in the center to run party affairs, authorities stated.
