An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has indicted two more accused arrested in PTI leader Dr Zohra Shahid’s murder case and they have pleaded not guilty.
The ATC took up murder case of Dr Zohra Shahid for hearing on Friday in Karachi Central Prison. Police produced two more accused including Irfan alias Lamba and Kalim in the court. The court indicted them, however, the two accused persons pleaded not guilty.
The court summoned the witnesses on next hearing on June 1 for recording their statements. The court has already indicted the arrested accused in the case including Rashid alias Tailor, Zahid Abbas Zaidi and others. Zohra Shahid was gunned down in May 2013 in the area close to her home at Defence in Karachi. The hearing of the case has been put off till June 1.
