Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain congratulated the Sindh government, provincial high-ups and police department over the capture of the accused involved in May 13 Safoora Carnage and said the arrest of culprits was a historic success of the city’s police.
Talking on phone to the members of coordination committee, Hussain lavished praises on the Karachi police, Sindh government and other high civil officials on the arrest of terrorists involved in Safoora massacre, Sabeen Mahmud’s murder and other sabotage activities.
The Muttahida chief termed the arrest of killers a historic success, saying, “Arrest of the terrorists behind Safoora tragedy, murders of prominent social activist Sabeen Mahmud and doctors, engineers, professors, religious scholars and attack on US professor working in Pakistan Dr Debra Lobo was a historic success for the Karachi police.”
The MQM founder remarked that officers and personnel of Karachi police should thank Almighty Allah and offer special prayers for the honour given to them.
He paid glowing tributes to officers and staff of Karachi police, CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other civil officials on their success in busting the terrorist group.
