Two people have been arrested in connection with Dr Imran Farooq murder and money laundering cases being probed by London Metropolitan Police and Scotland Yard, sources said on Wednesday.
A news channel reported that one person was arrested in Abu Dhabi and another in Dubai. Both men belong to a Pakistani political party, they added.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for MQM said that no party worker has been arrested and recent arrests made in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have nothing to do with the party.
