PESHAWAR:
Unknown gunmen riding motorcycle shot-dead Deputy Superintendent Police, Bahadar Khan at Sheikhabad area in the limit of Gulabar Police station here on Wednesday morning, according to local media sources.
According to Police, the vehicle of DSP Bahadar Khan, who was performing duty at Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) when reached at Anam Sanam Chowk, was ambushed by the gunmen riding motorcycle, killing him on the spot. However, his daughter escaped unhurt in the deadly attack. His body was shifted to hospital for autopsy.
The attackers managed to escape from the scene. Police cordoned off the area and started investigation after registration of the case.
