In a statement issued on Monday, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari ruled out the possibility of Governor’s Rule in Sindh, also dismissing the possibility of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah’s resignation.

The PPP co-chairman said imposition of Governor’s Rule has become more difficult with the passage of 18th Constitutional Amendment. “Chief minister of Sindh will not be changed. We are not afraid of Governor’s Rule in Sindh,” he said, adding that he had “no fear of magic wand” either.

Commenting on the estranged PPP leader, Zardari went on to say that there was nothing left for him to say over Zulfiqar Mirza’s recent tirade directed at him. “Zulfiqar Mirza used dirty language. He used to say that his home and clothes were due to Zardari and now he talks things which are beyond my understanding,” he added.

Moreover, the former president said that Safoora Goth carnage was carried out under a “well-planned conspiracy”.

Furthermore, he said that PPP Patron-In-Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had reached Dubai for his expected arrival in Pakistan.
