Two workers were killed and one injured when an elevator in a Karachi garment factory located in SITE broke down, according to local media sources.
The deceased succumed to their injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital, according to sources.
Sources from the Chippa Welfare sources claimed that the dead were identified as Rashid and Asghar, while the injured was recognized as Adnan.
Adnan sustained a head injury and subsequently underwent an operation, according to sources.
As soon as the incident took place, both police and Rangers were deployed in the area to conduct investigations, and the factory was shut down too, sources claimed.
