Nation paying price of 2013 election rigging: PML

The entire country is as paying the price of rigging in 2013 general elections, said Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leaders while presiding over a representative meeting of NA-108 Mandi Bahauddin.

They meeting also offered prayers for the departed soul of Ch Sultan Mahmud.

During the meeting, PML candidate Hamza Nasir Iqbal, National Assembly Member Tariq Bashir Cheema, Riaz Asghar Chaudhry, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan, Mohammad Basharat Raja, Imtiaz Ranjha, Sajid Khan Bhatti, Arif Gondal, Zulqarnain Sahi, Rameez Hassan Khawaja, Khalid Parvez Sindhu, Mrs Fehmida, Afzaal Tarar and others presented their suggestions and proposals.

Shujat said that the Muslim League is very much alive and active and those calling it dead should better up from deep slumber.

Giving direction to the workers to make preparations for the election, he said that rigging in 2013 election is a bitter reality and will be unfolded fully soon.

Parvez Elahi said that family of Hamza Nasir Iqbal has deep relationship with our family, these would be further strengthened and carried forward.

He said that wrong decisions were taken in 2013 election which led the country into darkness.

He said that the entire country is paying the price for the rigging Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) committed during the elections.

He said that PML-N had been in power for over 20 years yet they couldn’t rid the nation of miseries.

“All they can do is to construct underpasses or jangla bus,” he said critcising the current government for spending hefty amount on infrastructure development and ignoring development of people.

He reminded the participants that there was no load shedding during his tenure.
