Mazari says govt has failed to implement NAP

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Minister Shireen Mazari has said that the government has failed to implement the National Action Plan (NAP) which was agreed upon at an All Parties Conference.

While taking exception to a speech made by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, she said that instead of visiting his constituency, he should have visited Karachi to console the heirs of the Safora Goth carnage victims.

She sarcastically said that appearance of the interior minister after a long slumber was a good sign. She said that only Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police was free from political interference while the police in other provinces were under pressure of politicians.

Mazari further said that the establishment of the Judicial Commission itself was a good step and the party will accept its findings and verdict on the poll-rigging probe. She said that the PTI believed in democracy and will leave no stone unturned to further strengthen it.
