In wake of terrorist attack threats in cantonment area, the markets in the nearby areas of Frontier Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar were closed on Saturday.
Police claimed that terrorist attack threats have been given from the past several days to the markets located in the adjoining areas of FC Headquarters, due to which Highway near the FC Chowk was restricted to one-way traffic on Saturday morning.
Five hours later, the highway next to FC Chowk was opened for normal traffic. The security of sensitive areas is at high alert.
Additional units of police and FC personals have been deployed in various areas of Peshawar to engage against terrorist attack.
