National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry on Thursday reiterated the need to develop an effective Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework for NAB, which should help fulfil the organisation’s core objectives and mandate.
He stated this while chairing a meeting to review the latest progress on development of the Accountability Management System (AMS) at NAB Headquarters. During the meeting, DG NAB Headquarters gave a presentation regarding the work done so far to develop the AMS.
He informed that a team from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) visited the NAB Headquarters and Rawalpindi/Islamabad Regional Bureau to review how to setup an effective M&E System, which is equipped with the ability to analyse data in both qualitative and quantitative forms. The system is meant to be fitted with warnings and an alarm system for violators.
