KARACHI:
By examining forensic reported and asking eyewitnesses at the incident, police have gathered important clues of the attackers during investigation of Wednesday’s tragedy, according to local media sources.
Eyewitnesses stated that terrorists intercepted the bus with a car after which some other terrorists riding motorcycles emerged there and boarded the bus.
The terrorists, apparently aging between 20 and 30 years, were clad in pants shirts and chanted slogans before opening fire.
Police have also received forensic report of the incident, revealing that the bullets used in the attack were similar to the ones used in the last month’s attack on American doctor Deborah Lobo in Karachi, sources claimed.
An eyewitness added that pamphlets were also left behind, and the same happened during the Debora Lobo incident.
Authorities have also traced phone calls made in the vicinity during the time of attack, as police are investigating 12 suspected numbers using geo-fencing technology, reportedly.
