ISLAMABAD:
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah announced compensation for the Karachi bus attack victims on Wednesday (today), according to local media sources.
While speaking to reporters in Islamabad, Qaim announced compensation of Rs.0.5 million to family members of each deceased and Rs.0.2 million to each injured person, authorities reported.
Pledging to bring the culprits to book, Qaim Ali Shah said that two senior police officials – a DSP and SHO Sachal police station – have been suspended following the deadly attack on Ismaili community bus that left 43 people dead and over 15 injured in Karachi’s Safoora area, according to reports.
