KARACHI:
Muttahida Qaumi Movement demanded the resignation of Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad on Monday, according to local media sources.
Addressing a press conference, Farooq Sattar said that the governor should tender his resignation and return to the party, reported sources.
Sattar further went on to claim that the killings of MQM workers and supporters began after Pakistan People’s Party formed government in 2008, adding that the governor had failed to stop the killings, authorities stated.
Sattar added that the Muhajir-dominated localities were being raided in the name of the operation, according to sources.
