Body recovered in Chaman, four terrorist suspects rounded up with arms in Sibbi
One terrorist was killed and three were arrested after exchange of fire with Frontier Corps (FC) on Sunday.
FC IG Major General Sher Afgan said that the paramilitary troops conducted search operation against the miscreants in Sui area of Dera Bugti. During operation terrorists hiding in the area started firing at FC personnel which led to a fire exchange.
In cross firing one terrorist of a banned outfit was killed while three of his accomplices were nabbed and huge cache of arms was recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, four more terrorists belonging to banned organizations were detained from Sibbi during separate search operations while arms were recovered from their possession. The detained terrorists were shifted to undisclosed destination for further interrogation.
Bullet riddled body of an unidentified person was recovered in Chaman. The body was shifted to hospital for identification and medico-legal formalities.
GAS PIPELINE BLOWN UP:
Separately, unidentified miscreants blew up a gas pipeline in Killi Mat of Pirkoh area in Dera Bugti district on Sunday.
Levies sources said that unidentified miscreants planted an explosive device beside a pipeline carrying gas from Pirkoh gas field to Sui gas purification plant which went off with a big bang damaging a portion of 24 inches diameter gas pipeline.
Explosion caused eruption of heavy fire in the pipeline which was extinguished by the rescue workers soon after the incident. Sources said that repair work will be taken up after the area was secured.
