Sindh IGP GH Jamali, Addl IG Karachi, Commissioner Karachi, Registrar Sindh High Court and other police and civil officers attended the funeral prayer of martyred DSP Zulfiqar Zaidi at PHQGarden.
The IGP announced posthumous promotion of the martyred officer in the next grade. He also directed appointment of his nephew on the recommendation of the widow of martyred police officer. The IGP offered condolences with the grieved family and offered fateha.
The IGP further directed for the payment of support/compensation money and other dues as soon as possible. Later, the IGP held a meeting with Additional IG Karachi and senior police officers of Karachi police and reviewed security measures for the police personnel in particular and citizens in general. He stressed for early detection of police murder cases and other high profile cases.
