NADRA’s report about NA-122 rules out organised rigging: Rashid

Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid has said that NADRA’s forensic report about National Assembly constituency NA-122 has ruled out organised rigging in the elections.

In a statement, he said out of 180,000 votes only 500 votes were rejected. He said the quality of 93,852 thumb impressions was poor. He said the National Identity Card Numbers of all voters were found correct.

Pervaiz Rashid said PTI leaders need to read NADRA’s report carefully in which election in NA-122 has been termed rigging-free. He said that PTI leaders are used to misleading people by making wrong statements. He said the PTI office-bearers were punished on the spot for being involved in rigging in the by-elections of Karachi.
