KARACHI:
Sindh High Court (SHC) has rejected Saulat Mirza’s wife’s application, seeking deferment of her husband’s execution which is scheduled on May 12, according to local media sources.
Mirza was a former worker of MQM and was awarded a death sentence for the 1997 murder of MD of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation Shahid Hamid, his driver, and his security guard.
Mirza is scheduled to be hanged on May 12 in Balochistan’s Machh jail, according to sources.
