Khawaja Saad Rafique, the railways minister who was unseated by an election tribunal on Tuesday, is likely to be made adviser to prime minister on railways, a news channel reported on Thursday.
According to the channel, senior leaders of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has suggested to the party leadership to appoint Saad Rafique as PM’s adviser for railways ministry.
However, sources said a final decision in this regard will be taken by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif whose party has decided to challenge unseating of the PML-N stalwart in Supreme Court.
