Talking to Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed that all-out efforts should be made to ensure timely completion of power projects.
PML-N Gilgit-Baltistan Member Central Executive Committee Sultan Madad was also present during the meeting. The prime minister was apprised of the status of ongoing power generation projects in GB.
The prime minister directed that these projects should be completed on time so that electricity shortfall in the country may be reduced.
Sultan Madad informed the prime minister that people of the area have whole-heartedly welcomed the development projects announced by the prime minister during his previous visit to Gilgit and are confident that their completion would bring a qualitative improvement in their lives.
