The Ambassador of Kuwait Mr. Nawaf Abdulaziz A.A. Alenezi called on the Speaker, National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the Parliament House on Wednesday.
While talking to the Ambassador, the speaker said that Pakistan attaches importance to Kuwait being one of its brother and an economic partner. He further said that the parliamentary interaction could add impetus in strengthening brotherly relations between both the countries.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq underlined the need for enhancing economic cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait in the industrial, economic and power sectors. He said that Kuwaiti investors could take advantage of immense economic potential in Pakistan.
The Ambassador of Kuwait Mr. Nawaf Abdulaziz A.A. Alenezi appreciated the sentiments of the Speaker and assured his Government’s all-out support to Pakistan in diverse fields. He said that Kuwaiti Parliament is also keen to enhance its cooperation with National Assembly of Pakistan through Friendship Groups of both the countries.
He was confident that fraternal relations between both the countries would further strengthen by frequent interaction between the parliamentarians and business community of the two brotherly nations.
