Lahore High Court (LHC) has accepted to hear the petition seeking Maryam Safdar bail dismissal; she is the woman who crushed three Youhanabad protesters’ to death with her car to save her life.
The hearing was headed by Justice Aliya Neelam in which the plaintiff’s counsel adopted the stance that session court accepted Maryam’s bail plea although the suspect deliberately crushed three people with her car; therefore, her bail should be dismissed.
The court while accepting the petition for hearing summoned a reply from investigating officers and Maryam Safdar in three weeks.
