Senior House Officer (SHO) Jarwar Mohammad Hassan was killed while two other police officers sustained injuries when dacoits attacked the armored cars of police by rocket launcher during an encounter Wednesday in Ghotki.
As per details, a search operation was initiated by the security agencies some 15 days back to nab the most wanted bandit Sultan aka Saltu and Chotu Bukhrani.
During the operation, the suspects targeted police vehicle by a rocket launcher killing SHO whereas two officers got severely injured.
The victims were shifted to the Obara Hospital for medicinal aid. An exchange of firing was still underway between police and criminals till filing of this report.
