At least five target killers were killed in an encounter with police in different areas of Karachi on Wednesday.
Police claim to have killed two alleged Lyari gangsters and three dacoits in exchange of fire. According to details, two suspects affiliated with Wasiullah Lakhoo Group of Lyari gang were killed in an encounter that took place in Meethadar area of the city.
Police sources claimed that criminals were involved in the targeted killing of at least 20 people including police personnel. Police claimed the deceased were involved in various crimes including grenade attacks and murders. The police said three armed robbers were killed in different areas of the city.
The police encounter took place in the limit of Mithadar police station, where two Lyari gangsters were killed. The two gang-war criminals have been identified as Asif alias Qayamat and Amir alias Baba.
