Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday telephoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and congratulated him on the party’s victory in the NA-246 by-poll.
According to details, Zardari told Altaf that MQM’s victory in the by-poll had put to rest the allegations levelled against the party by its political rivals. Altaf thanked Zardari and said that the MQM’s victory is for the oppressed people of the whole country.
