Wife Kris Jenner finally comments on Bruce Jenner’s transition

Kris Jenner has responded to accusations she declined to provide comment on Bruce Jenner’s ABC special with Diane Sawyer, according to a news report published in the Mirror.

While Bruce’s ex-wives Chrystie Scott and Linda Thompson both gave comment during the interview, Sawyer said his wife of more than 20 years Kris didn’t want to.

Though as the bombshell interview aired Kris took to Twitter to blast claims she chose not to comment.

She said to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton: “F*** you Perez no one asked me to comment …. and I’m sitting with Bruce now watching this show so let’s keep it real…LOL….”

Almost a week later, Kris has now issued a statement to People saying she was only asked for “fact checking”.

“Kris does not have official representation but a message was left at her office and she was asked for fact checking. Kris said she was unable to respond because she had not seen the special. She did not say, ‘No comment.'”

But ABC insist that they did reach out to the Keeping up with the Kardashians star.

A network statement said: “ABC News sent an email to her publicity team more than once.

“They called and said no comment.”

The Olympic gold medalist spoke publicly for the first time about his transition on Friday, revealing: “Yes, for all intents and purposes, I’m a woman. I have the soul of a female and my brain is much more female than it is male, as of now I have all the male parts.”

Although Kris has remained largely quiet on Bruce’s transition, she later tweeted: “Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.”
