‘I wish I left sooner’: Robert Downey Jr. talks about walking out of interview

Robert Downey Jr has spoken out about walking out of the Krishnan Guru-Murthy Channel 4 News interview, according to the Mirror.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron star was in London last week to promote his latest movie but when questions turned to his past experience of serving a prison sentence (for drug offences), the atmosphere changed.

Speaking on The Howard Stern Show, he revealed: “I just wish I’d left sooner.”

The opinionated shock jock agreed that Guru-Murthy had no right to go down that route, because he’s only there to talk about entertainment.

“It’s not like you’re running for president,” quipped Stern.
